Average Frenchman 1900 (colourized)
The French are a truly loathsome collective of frog gobblers from western Europe. On multiple occasions they have been the arch nemesis of Colonial Creosote and his colleagues, most famously in The Jeremboah Wars and The Island Tale. It is matter of utmost daily lament that The 100 years war did not put an end to them and their foreign ways, and that the glorious British nation did not finish the job after the Napoleonic Wars, instead being the most civil and responsible winners in world history (very much unlike the French). This would not prevent Britain saving their skins in no less than two World Wars at the expense of massive lives and riches. The thanks for this great sacrifice since have amounted to precisely zero, for the French are most contemptibly selfish and ungrateful as a nation. They are inevitably foiled by Creosote and all such other good Englishmen who's sheer willpower and common sense overcomes the slovenly emotional frenchman who stumbles through life in a haze of wine, baguettes and garlic, which fog his mind to all reason and leave him utterly completely French.
